lately.

i've been so busy lately. i have a lot of blog reading to catch up on :)

toby keith was a blast.

it was like 107* which is why i looked like a sweaty mess.

mr keith did play "should've been a cowboy" and i was one happy girl!

bradley and i went to the beach and hung out with family last week.

sister and mom!

and then to one of my really fabulous friends couples baby showers! i can't wait to meet chris and leah's bundle of joy!

on the note of babies...another fabulous friend is also preggo. it's so exciting!! you girls are going to make amazing mothers!

One.
I think I may be slightly obsessed with jimmy john’s at the moment. All I want to eat is the beach club. In fact, I do believe I will have one for supper tonight.

When I googled to get my image for the beach club my picture from the avocado spread came up! OMG! I just got REALLY excited. It’s not even that good of a picture. Okay, I’m still REALLY excited! ha

Three.
Bradley is in Charleston right now. I’m really jealous. I want to go home. South Carolina is just the better of the Carolinas. I'm going home soon for a good friend's baby shower and I just CAN'T wait.

I think smartwater is just better. We had this convo during our staff meeting today. My coworkers don't believe me. But, it is better. Afterall, it is made from the clouds :D I found it on sale for $1 per bottle at Harris Teeter and my insides did a little happy dance.

Friday night I’m going to a Toby Keith concert. I’m not a huge fan but I’m always up for a country concert. As long as he plays his oldies I’ll be one happy girl! COME ON FRIDAY…I need a girls night! :)

i haven't been doing menu mondays because brad is out of town every week.
:( we are moving to north carolina soon and he is there during the week and home only on the weekends. i move at the end of the month. either way, i haven't really been cooking. in fact, to be honest-i sometimes just eat cheese for supper. that's bad, right? the other night i added chips to my cheese. it was like college nachos. chips covered with cheese and microwaved. blahhhh.

speaking of chips and cheese... this was my favvvvv commerical from last night. gross but delightful.

just a few random things.

1. bradley has been obsessed lately with hunting and all things manly/country-ish. he even likes to say "hey bo" when we are camping or in the woods and such. yeah, i thought i moved away from upstate sc, too?? hmm. so, the other day bradley sends me this in a email.

2. last saturday was full of love. seriously, hearts everywhere.

eat more chicken. i have always loved dairy cows. i think they are so cute. once, i was in a pageant and during the interview they asked me why a cow was my fav animal. so i said... i love their utters. they are just so pink and cute. needless to say, i didn't win. :D

today is my friday and tomorrow we will be off celebrating meghan! my friend nicole and i have been busy putting things together all week(and last week) can't wait to share all the fun games, decorations, and food with you next week! :)

i was playing hand games with my little sister the other week, you know...miss mary mack mack mack all dressed in black black black...etc. well, i was RACKING my trying to remember miss suzie. i refused to google it. i needed to remember. then the other night after a cocktail (go figure) i remembered! and i was so happy. the next night i told all my friends. apparently, not all girls learned this little song the same. there is even a version of miss lucy! weird, i know.

Ooh. That’s such a hard one. I have so many wonderful memories. But, the one that comes to mind right away is… I stayed with my great grandparents when I was little and I would sit on the top of my papa RL’s chair and comb his hair with a black comb... I remember making it stand up and I thought it was the funniest thing ever. You know…one like this… they always make me smile

so last night a few of my girl friends and i went to see the switch. it was an awesome girls night movie. short version: kassie(jen aniston) wants a baby but isnt married and/or doesn't have a man. wally(jason bateman) is her bff. kassie has a get pregger party and the sperm donor is there. he does his business and its in a cup in the bathroom. drunk wally preforms a little switch of the juices. kassie moves away when she finds out she is knocked up but returns 7 years later. and then the movie gets adorable. mostly because of the darling little kid. he is so funny and WEIRD but amazing. okay, this wasn't short. basically, go see the movie...its fabulously funny.

i'm back! :)

1. my first concert was hanson. i loved them. i was obsessed with them. i wore hanson t-shirts to school. this was 5th grade.
2. i can flip my tounge around in my mouth. as in i can make it go upside down. it's amazing and i love doing it. weird.
3. if i don't like the way something looks that i've written...i will write it all over again just so my handwritting is pretty. grocery list that looks sloppy? yep, im re-writing it.
4. i love to bake. but... often times i skip the hard work and just buy the boxed cakes. i mean, from scratch takes so effort. ahhh. dont call me a baker just yet. a real baker would never.

so i was thinking last night...about how awesome the human body is AND i think it is simply amazing that your finger fits perfectly in your nose! i mean- my finger doesn't fit in brad's nose...his finger doesn't fit in mine. but buddy believe it my finger fits perfectly in my own nose :)

see this thing to my left? yeah...that was on my face this morning. i went to the dentist...i haven't been in almost 2 years (i know i know...shame on me) so anyway i lay in the chair and she is like do you want some gas? i have never had gas at the dentist why start now? so i say no i'm a big girl and i can handle getting my teeth cleaned thank you. but then she acts like all the patients do it...so i'm like oh okay well if everyone else does it...i'll do it too. (way to jump off the cliff manda.) so i'm laying there chatting away as usual...not noticing anything different. then i shut up so she can go to work and wham! i'm drunk...or at least that's what it feels like. drunk at 8:30am. i say stupid things at this point and think i'm talking kinda loud...i'm not sure if i really was though. then after it's all finished she gives me oxygen and wham! i'm not drunk anymore. whhhat? weird. so of course i call my mom...cause she was a dental hygienist for like ever...and she's like omg they gave you whhhhat?! so apparently i should not have had gas for a teeth cleaning. then brad goes awesome..we get charged for that? hmmm. good question. idk my bff rose.

NOW i have a headache...i'm not sure if it is from my drunken morning but i will go ahead and blame it on that.
